Production Notes

Rehearsals go on a pace .  This is going to be a fresh and exciting  production.

The Etcetera production of The Taming of the Shrew will be based in the 1930s, a period of economic hardship and depravation but also a great period for radical and free thinking.

We are aiming for a modern, lively comedy which tells a story about love.  The focus will be on a couple that are besotted with each other and struggle in conforming to the roles, which society expects of them.  As their relationship evolves, they play to the gallery amidst a background of charade and shenanigans.
