Abiodun Oduyemi is to play Merriman in etc’s production of the Importance of Being Earnest.

In the hilarious Oscar Wilde comedy we discover over-worked and under-appreciated Merriman at the heart of Jack Worthing's household where he observes and then gets roped into some of the mischief.

Abi said he was looking forward to the physical comedy that the role offers and to making his contribution to the laughs.

Abi is returning to the stage after a 20-year hiatus. As a college student, he participated in a lot of stage plays and skits and loves being onstage as well as backstage.
